I’m raising funds for the Durham Public Schools Foundation (DPSF) because I believe every student deserves the opportunities, resources, and support they need to thrive.

This work is personal to me. As a DPS alum, I know firsthand the power of strong public schools. Now, as a parent, I do this for my son, Mikey, his future classmates, and all Durham students. Every child deserves a school that uplifts them and prepares them for success—and together, we can make that happen.

DPSF has already:

• Invested $1.5M in grants directly into schools.

• Awarded 86 scholarships to DPS seniors.

• Supported over 2,600 educators, students, and families through mental health and wellness programs.

But there’s still more to do. Your donation will help DPSF continue this transformative work, making Durham’s public schools more equitable, inclusive, and ready to support every student’s success.
